Diorskin Forever Compact Flawless Perfection Fusion Wear Makeup SPF 25 Review

Price: $49
Size: 0.35 oz
Rating: 1/5

This week I tried the Diorskin Forever Compact Flawless Perfection Fusion Wear Makeup SPF 25 in Medium Beige. I liked the fact that this foundation has a built in spf which is perfect for my lazy days (usually always) when I skip applying sunscreen because of the hate of the smell and the oily feeling I get when applied.

I had such high expectations with this foundation due to the fact that it was Dior but this did not sit right with my skin. It applied very patchy and did not meld into the skin like my MAKE UP FOR EVER Duo Mat Powder Foundation. The makeup accentuated dry patches that I did not realize I even had Also the color match was a little off for my medium yellow skin tone. The colors were more on the neutral to pink undertone range.

Overall, this foundation did not work for me and with the price tag, I was expecting something fantastic which Dior did not deliver this time.

Cargo OneBase Concealer + Foundation in One Review

Claims: Many women don't need to apply foundation everywhere. OneBase™ allows you to cover areas around the eyes, nose and mouth to conceal imperfections, then blends out perfectly to match natural skin tone. It combines superior coverage and precise application in the ease of a sleek tube-and-wand combination. The perfect product for those who do not want full-face foundation coverage. It is designed for natural coverage in key facial areas with nourishing ingredients and conditioning properties to provide moisture to the skin.

Opinion: The Cargo 'OneBase' Concealer + Foundation in One is definitely a sheer color compared to full on foundation. This is perfect for people who already have close to flawless skin but would still want a bit more coverage in certain areas of the face to mask redness or blemishes. If you are looking for a fuller coverage concealer/foundation, this is not the product for you. I used this mostly for my undereye area which is very moisturizing, reducing the creasing. The coverage does wear off during the day and you may have to reapply. The doe foot applicator is very useful when dotting onto the face for precision and the product blends out easily.

Make Up Forever Duo Mat Powder Foundation

I have been trying the Make Up Forever Duo Mat Powder Foundation for about 1 or so weeks now and I got to say that I really like this foundation. This foundation is more geared towards the oily skin types due to its mattifying properties. This powder will magnify dry and flakey areas of your skin. The coverage is light to medium making the product a great setting powder and a light coverage foundation.  The sponge compartment, I feel, is a waste of packaging because the foundation goes on best with a brush. All in all, this is my favorite powder foundation for the moment.

The best technique when applying this would be to tap your brush in or roll your brush along the surface. When I swirl my brush, the powder tends to fly everywhere which wastes more product than used. I picked the translucent beige shade which matched my light to medium with a hint of yellow skin tone.

The Makeup Perfect Smoothing Compact Foundation SPF 15 Review

Recently I have been using the The Makeup Perfect Smoothing Compact Foundation SPF 15. At first application, I really liked the foundation and it had light to med coverage which helped smooth my pimply moments, but through out the day my face would get oilier due to the oil production factory we call my skin. My face didn't look matte anymore but a sheeny finish that may be on the yucky side. If you have dry skin, this foundation may work for you, but this did not work out as much as I wished it would.

Rating: 2/5 (for oil skin)
Price: Compact $9, Foundation $31
