Cargo OneBase Concealer + Foundation in One Review

Claims: Many women don't need to apply foundation everywhere. OneBase™ allows you to cover areas around the eyes, nose and mouth to conceal imperfections, then blends out perfectly to match natural skin tone. It combines superior coverage and precise application in the ease of a sleek tube-and-wand combination. The perfect product for those who do not want full-face foundation coverage. It is designed for natural coverage in key facial areas with nourishing ingredients and conditioning properties to provide moisture to the skin.

Opinion: The Cargo 'OneBase' Concealer + Foundation in One is definitely a sheer color compared to full on foundation. This is perfect for people who already have close to flawless skin but would still want a bit more coverage in certain areas of the face to mask redness or blemishes. If you are looking for a fuller coverage concealer/foundation, this is not the product for you. I used this mostly for my undereye area which is very moisturizing, reducing the creasing. The coverage does wear off during the day and you may have to reapply. The doe foot applicator is very useful when dotting onto the face for precision and the product blends out easily.

Amazing Cosmetics Concealer Review

Claims: AmazingCosmetics' AmazingConcealer is the most amazing concealer available today. This highly pigmented, super-emollient, waterproof formula blends seamlessly into the skin, creating a flawless complexion that looks and feels natural.

Opinons: I have been getting back into the Amazing Cosmetics Concealer recently due to the higher pigmentation and coverage that it provides. I use concealer mainly for my under eye circles  The concealer holds up very well for a few hours then there needs to be reapplication. It does live up to its claim of a waterproof formula with blend-ability but this concealer does not look the most natural.  The best use for this product would be on pimples or redness on the face but people will definitely notice that you are wearing makeup. Cons about the product would be the price ($42 for 0.5 oz) and caki-ness of product when a heavy amount is used.

The best method for this under the eye would be to apply with a brush or your fingers and pat into the under eye area in a triangular shape making sure to sweep down and blend into your skin. After you have built up the necessary coverage, you finish off with a setting spray and creasing will be minimized. If you do not use a setting spray, there will be creasing and setting into fine lines around the eye.

My shade is medium beige which matches my medium warm yellowish skin. For comparison, I am a NW25 in MAC shades and light med in most other shades from other companies.

First w/ Smashbox

I have recently been trying out Smashbox from my Sephora purchase online because I heard a lot of good reviews about them but I was not impressed with their quality or staying power. The Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner in Vamp ($10) was not waterproof and smudged a bit over my oily eyelids. The color was very pretty though and it was the perfect shade and the shimmer was not very noticeable. The other product I also tried from this brand would be the HD Concealer in med beige ($20). I use concealers mainly for dark circles and this did not hide them one bit. The formula was overly liquidy and did not have any staying power.
